Eratellus is a small band with big ideas. Nestled into the Wasatch Mountains, Gavin and Kayla are a married couple working to leave a musical legacy for their son. The name "Eratellus" comes from Latin, and roughly translates to "Era of the Earth". They write stories about deeply human experiences in an often impersonal world. Eratellus is striving for a new sound between the alt-rock and hard rock genres they like to call "Space Rock," taking beloved rock styles and infusing them with modern EDM musical trends.

About the instruments-

In "Earthrise", you can hear a distorted Jackson electric guitar dancing with a modern synth leading the theme. You can also hear a vintage 1960's Epiphone hollow body, passed down through generations of Gavin's family, running a clean sound but also evolved with Grossbeat to give it an EDM flavor. 

In "Persist," the Jackson is back with a heavy distortion leading the song theme. Intertwined with the Jackson and the 12 string Martin Co. acoustic is a vocoder to add a synth layer perfectly blended with the analog guitars.
